That'd take care of most anything a guy might want to hunt in NA. And in only three rifles............................. BORING!!:p:)

I do like the idea of similar or matching hunting rifles though.... I'm headed in that direction myself. Maybe.
 
I really, really like that rifle.. Spose 20" would do the 30-06 justice? I'm going to get smoething like that for a combo deer/moose/target rifle, want to use only one and be used to it. Plus the wife would kill me if I got more than one 3 digit rifle...

I'm also looking at a Savage American classic, Tikka T3 hunter, maybe one of those new Winchester featherweights posted elsewhere... or might save and get one of the plastic stocks I hate so much, eyeing a $400 cheapo non-accutrigger simmons/sling Savage, but I hate it already because it isnt what i want and I dont know if I don't know if I'll be able to bond with it when we meet :bigHug:

How does that shoot, have you had a chance to try it out yet? Please let us know when you do, supposed to warm up later this week :nest:

whoops, not available in 30-06? 308 then, shorter barrel hurts even less I guess...
