I have a good friend who wants his wife to start hunting with him. She told him she would, and could she have here own rifle? So, of course he bought her one, a Savage combo in 243 last fall for her to learn to shoot. Well, turns out she is not only a knockout to look at, but she can really shoot, too!

My wife and I were visiting them a few weeks ago, and this gal mentions that she would like to have her rifle in camo, so.............off we went to Walmart.

She is tickled pink, and he is loading up some 243 TSX for her spring bear hunt! :)

a really nice one.

i think myself about one for a shooting rig including scope and rings. pretty sure i wont get any bad comments at the range. see you at the workshop.
 
I know how you feel, my girlfriend will shoot yes, but if it's a nice hot pink it's not leaving her hands, only downside I've got a nice pink 12G sitting in my safe...hey it's still a gun
 
I'm setting up a rig for my wife, an old action on a new stock, she picked a purple laminate one from Boyds. I think she did it so that I won't take it for myslef ;)

CHEESE SAYS RICE!!........mkozyn.....what ever ya do don't post any pics of it on here!!.;)..My wife started shootin my Stevens 243...she loved it...I mentioned a Boyds Thumbhole stock...well sir...she ordered the PURPLE....they didn't have one....could be 6 weeks or more....UN UH.:(.not for her..."GIMME THE FRIGGIN SKY BLUE THEN"...so we got the sky blue..I did it up for her. She really loves it...BUT...she always mentions how Boyds DID NOT have her favorite color!!...so , be a friend, ;)and SAVE my neck:D:D

Well, Boys and Girls, my buddy's wife is getting ready to go whack a bear, and is shooting better than ever before: 100 gr PSPs into 3" groups at 200 yd.

Painting a rifle pink is an accuracy enhancement. :)




Of course, we knew that already!

My wife would be absolutely PI$$ED if I tried to do that. I have even offered to put a pink Hogue stock on her 10/22 and she told me to pound sand. We got a black one instead. Her nails and hair get done and she dresses pretty good, but when it comes to shooting, she is no nonsense. During hunting season, she even cuts her nails off so she can load her magazine and gut/skin her game.
 
Looks purple. If you shine a flashlight on your receiver and barrel nut do you see any rust left over from the blu-ing process? Please try it and let me know!
