Note the odd smattering of AK and Type 63/68 rifles.

The Type 56 was the PLA's primary infantry rifle for almost 30 years. 6 million People's Militia were for the most part armed with it as well.

No kidding. I have never understood why commy governments insisted on having ugly chicks in their propaganda posters.

Cuba, Russia, NK and especially China. Heck, for a period, Mao even wanted all chicks to dress ugly in day to day life.

Capitalist propaganda, on the other hand, hot chicks.

I think it might be why communism sucks. When given a choice, they prefer ugly chicks.

those are not "D" or "M" , they are type 68 .

Perhaps because the type (63) 68 was select fire.

But if they could have been modified before import they might have been a sweet variant to have as I read it has a bolt hold open, can be fed by stripper clips and is a detachable mag.
