The Savage 338 110 FCP HS has started its adventure. The 3 shot results are looking promising. US869 powder, lapua brass, 250 gr lapua scenars.





A little more tweaking the col and up and down a smidge of powder and I 'm good.

Tigr, what velocity are you getting out of that load?
Have you played with US869 long enough to see if there is any velocity changes with temperature?

And why are you wasting rounds at 100?? Dont you start load development at 300 on a Lapua

Im squeaking 1/2 moa on my first round of load development on my 338Improved at 97gr of Retumbo at 300m and getting 2950fps.
Gotta get back out again and fine tune, play with seating a little as well see if I can tighten that up a bit and check my ES/SD.
