What happened to the build you own ppsh-41 thread? I did a search and can't find it.
I have more information to re that build to add. I've talked to "jetsum". He’s the guy who made that cool bending jig that the yanks are using for their LEGAL semi auto pps-43. Anyway he's willing to make a full length jig for us cheap. This would solve ONE of the problems that were being discussed in the thread.

I just searched ppsh in the milsurp forum, and set the search parameters back a year.

With the new search system if you don't select a specific forum, it doesn't do an open search of the entire forum automatically... it just searches nothing and finds nothing.

If you don't set the time search parameters, then it automatically searches what posts have become active since you last logged in, so that usually means you find nothing again. I don't know how, but the techy on this site managed to make the search function worse than it already was....

I agree, but I have learned to set the time parameter every time, otherwise you get exactly nothing...and then get to wait 25 seconds...a bit frustrating...
