The Praises of the Mossberg Maverick Model 88!

I just can't say enough about my Maverick! I've owned lots of shotguns, even other Mossbergs, but the Model 88 has got to be the most versatile gun around! With the 28" barrel, it's great for bird, target and skeet. With the 20" and 18.5" barrel, it is just right for home defense! And with the ###y black finish, it's a fine looking gun to have in your hands!

Yup, it's a good shotgun for the money IMHO. I never had a problem with mine.

If it wasn't for anal, and restrictive USA export laws I might have bought another 18.5" barrel to replace the one I sold, and kept mine, but sadly I had to sell it as Mossberg could not send me another barrel due to the expensive permit issue the state department is holding over exporters.

So since the US didn't want my dirty Canadian money I bought a Chinese made Norinco HP9 instead, which IMHO is another great low priced shotgun.

So much for free trade.
