The W in this case is where and when. We know they are in short supply, we just don't want to hear it. We want them meow! We are willing to wait a short while however, shall we do a preorder list?

How about now? Are they in?

I think the glitch was that the "improved" second version didn't fit the new 580+ series as good as they should ... so Gen 2-Plus was required. That's what Tapco is now selling -- stateside!

I heard a rumour that Hi Caliber has a stash, and if you go into their new store drunk and beligerant, they will sell you one. The pass phrase you say to the salesperson is: "Do you want to touch my big bore?"

..ahhh..got it all wrong.. guess when I asked.. "Do you want to Pull my (bore) Snake" .. they sent me to the wrong department ..(of over inflated pricing!) ... ~

OHHH DAMN! I found three yesterday. Sweet design, very smart. Pm if you want to know where, I don't want to poo in HiCal's forum.

Make that "the LAST three"! None left as of this moment and those mags were on order for four months before appearing momentarily on the scene. Gotta be quick with Mini mags!

Cost on those?

Here's some insight into the Gen II problem with the all-weather SS Minis: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPlh-nM_QXI .

I believe the latest Tapco version -- unofficially the Gen II-Plus (but still marked Gen II) -- has taken care of that issue.

I paid $30 each. They have the tan followers, and fit beautifully. With the Accu-strut I got a day ago, I may have to stretch the old girls legs again, and see how she runs. Then I'm going to shoot my mini14. ;)
