The question: to paint or not to paint. . . pay more to paint?

To paint or not to paint, that is the question.

It's just not worth your time or money to paint prior to shipping. The paint gets dinged in the post and then we shoot off anything left. I now only paint gongs that will be out past 200 yards anyhow. Even then the paint is usually gone by the end of the day.

Let the whiners paint their own targets!

People really complain about the paint of a steel target? That blows
My mind, anytime I go out target shooting I have a couple of rattle cans with me to quickly repaint it whatever colour to see fresh hits again, which I am sure is what most people who actually shoot do.

I'm a raw dog it guy as well.

maybe add an option on the website for stand colour and target colour for an extra $$. gives people the option.

A drop down menu with whatever available colours for each product seems like an easy enough site update IMO.

I repainted mine with black and red almost immediately. Imo Send it bare metal unless requested to paint for a fee, in which have a high quality finish. Since a extra service is being requested have the customers understand it will cause a delay in their product shipping.

I perfer raw. Because again, it going to get shot, and mainly I don't like the colour choices that some people paint targets. Orange actually contrasts with the ground for me.

But like someone said.. Why not put the option if someone wants something painted for a fee, and a disclaimer that, paint takes extra processing time?

Plain steel is good. I'm just going to hit em with blaze orange tremclad anyway. I always find it funny when you buy targets that have a beautiful pristine paint job, or even better, powder coat. Ruined from the first shot, and usually so thick that attempts to repaint leave the surface looking even worse.
