Hi Guys,

What happen to EDm arms? Site is down, did someone buy them out? Guy was a great gun smith, but sucked at marketing. Let others make all the profit on his designs. His web site was up till last week and today I check it is down.
 
I hadn't heard of them, but looking at the pics I get the feeling they were doing these before the nemesis was heard of eh? any story on that? I couldn't find any "company history" on either website.

IIRC they use Lawton actions for the M300's. Sorry, but I don't get the "at a total loss" comment? Your clone build is within $500-$1000 of many advertised prices fo the M300 (McMillan stock) in the U.S.
 
also the EDM rifle is a removal barrel. The rifles wanstall is selling the nemesis are EDM 308 original designs.
 
Is this round in actual military usage anywhere??? Are quality components readily available? Factory ammo??

Certainly not used by any military that I am aware of. Just another orphan caliber.
Brass and projectiles ARE available for sure, we have a pretty good stock of both as well as reloading dies.
Factory Ammo , not that I know of.

The early 1s did use Lawton actions, but with Lawton's untimely death I do not believe the Lawton actions are even made any more.
I was strictly commenting on the price of the rebranded Stiller action in the Cadex chassis that I saw on a Canadian dealers site.
 
I do believe that some US SOF guys use .408 Cheytac. Likely Delta or equivalent. At least with a fifty if I run out of food for her a can get some from the closest machine gunner no problem. 408 not so much.

Finally saw the rifle you are refering to on the dealers website. Apologies as I am at a loss now as well?????!!!!! WTF!
