The reason you bought your last handgun?

My last 1 (actually 2 at once) were an Inglis Hi Power and a 1915 S&W Hand Ejector in .455. Bought as part of my interest in handguns of the two World Wars. Seems appropriate to post this today.

Actually, I just checked... Import revived 6 threads from 2005. Wtf? Obviously I have too much time on my hands to check that out, but not as much time as Import

I have a Norc 1911 .45, and while I do reload, it was still expensive and mandated that I sit down the night before a range trip to load up some rounds. So I bought a GSG 1911 in .22 with the zrts kit installed for half the price of what it was worth, and I get to shoot a whole lot more with no prep time, and I get cheap practice for the big fella.
I'll be looking for a Norc 1911 9mm just to round out the collection of one goes on a decent sale for Black Friday.

Last one was my TT33.

Because it was unbelievably cheap.

Like the Lee Enfields after the war.

Didn't want to miss out.

For me it was Taurus 24/7 G2. I wanted something that had all the features I was looking for and it fit the bill; adjustable rear sights, replaceable backstraps loaded chamber indicator, safety, double strike capability, decocker, fully ambi, beveled mag well , oversize ejection port (too bad it's missing magazine disconnect, it's the only thing missing).
