I really want to get one in the model seven ks from the custom shop but have had no luck finding one.I know there are some guys on here that have had some built and want your imput on a what you had built and how it's working for you.I might endup having to get one put togeather if i cant find one.I want it to be real light and handy as it will get packed more than shot or if you happen to know were there is a 7ks please let me know.Feel free to post pictures of your 350 if you like. Thanks Jared

I have a Remington 700 Classic in 350RM which I put in a McMillan stock. It seems pretty light to me and hasn't been a big burden in the field.... It is a short action from the factory so not that much bigger than the 'Seven'. I have EAW QD bases and rings so in close country I just dismount the scope and put it in my pocket or daypack... This changes the dynamics and makes it very handy..and the iron sights work fine for ranges to 75++ yds. It also has a Canjar 3 lever trigger with 'single set' device ...this is ok if you have a good rest and time to set up for a longer shot

Ruger also made a 77 in 350 Rem Mag, although they are difficult to find.
I had a Model 7 fullstock from the Custom Shop in 350 RM. It was a nice rifle. It went up north, where it belongs.

I have had three Ruger 77's in .350 RM... they were all nice, accurate rifles. I know a few guys that have the Rem 7 KS in .350 RM... I know one collector that has a dozen 7 KS rifles, many in cartridges that I have never seen KS'S in before.

Mine is a Remington 673, which is essentially a Model 7 with a laminated stock, vent rib and shark fin front sight. It could belong up north ( :) ), but I load it from mild to wild using Trail Boss for the plinkers and H-380 for the serious loads. They make a very effective, light, fast handling deer rifle in Central ON when loaded appropriately for the task. My only issue is not being able to use bullets such as the Nosler 225 grain because of OAL and magazine/action length. It's a rifle I would never consider selling.

Hey Boomer, I lend you a rifle for a week and then you show it off for years after...........do I get royalties when you post pics of my rifle?

OP.........HOW BAD do you want a Mod 7 KS???????????? That one has a couple dozen black bears to it's credit, and sorry no I do not have the sights for it I got it that way........sans sights.

I have another one................

Royalties??? I thought you were going to pay me for advertising your fine taste in rifles. The truth is I keep bringing it up because that rifle is so good at what it does. If I'd known you intended to sell it, I'd wouldn't have gone the switch barrel route.

I've thought about building one myself. Seems to me the easiest way would be to rebarrel a SAUM or WSM/WSSM since it has magnum sized boltface.

I don't know much about these cartridges but if they are built on short actions...I think that would be an excellent option. If I guy decided to use a long action...the 35 Whelan is just as good as the 350RM. But for sure one of the important characteristics of a 350RM in the field is its ability to function well in the very handy (and 'lively') short action rifles!

I had a Model 7 Custom KS exactly like the two pictured above. I didn't feel it's accuracy was up to par so I had it rebarreled with a stainless Shilen. Still not as accurate as I would have liked I had it rebarreled by Dan Lilja in the US with one of his stainless barrels. Still no luck I sent it down the road. I shot a couple deer and a coyote with it. It thumped pretty good at both ends.

Here's my Ruger...sights installed by Jennings

I have a 600 in 350 the only limitation is the magazine length, any bullet over 200 grains needs to be seated deep reducing powder capacity. I shoot Barnes 200 TSX at 2800 fps with TAC, kills real good,
