The Remington Model 870 Brushmaster Police

Ithaca had a deerslayer carbine, a 20” sighted barrel shot gun initially and I believe the Brushmaster is Remingtons response to it.

Rare and 870 are terms that do not go together with over 2,000,000 produced.....but I suppose adding the words "rare" increases the value in someone's mind? Usually the seller..... lol

Lots of 870’s around no doubt. But glossy blued wingmasters nib aren’t becoming anymore common. Feel free to show me yours.

Believe they were above ten mil before they closed.

That Brushmaster is a beaut. I’d be looking for a blued three round extension, then it would be perfect.

To me the only older "common" 870 that is worth anything is an Wingmaster Magnum with 21" barrel, Rifled sights. An older fellow I deer hunt with has promised to sell me his when he's ready to.

Didn't know they made that bushmaster. That's cool, I'd love to find one of them

NIB wingmasters are no longer made so that makes sense doesn't it but when they were they were far from rare in any configuration.....I own one 870, some kind of dbm tactical defender that looks like a police type gun, walnut? and matte finish and I've never fired it. It's there only if I need it and hopefully it won't fail on the one and only occasion I do need it. I have very little faith in Remington products based on my past experiences with them years ago... As for the box I used it to ship a gun I sold so I can't advertise NIB. I guess that means it won't meet "rare" standards?

I see. So you don't like Remington 870's, have very little faith in them, wont even shoot the one you have. But if the need arises, you are trusting your life and security to them.
