The Remple Bi Pod Info Needed, Please.

Do those of you that use the Remple bipod know if it would work on a 35lb rifle.....if so I will look into buying one as the bipod I'm using is not meant to support that weight.

Since the Bipod only holds a portion of the weight I don't see why it shouldn't.

Email Henry and tell him what you have and get his opinion....he built it after-all.

The adapter plates are intended to slide into an Aschutz rail, HOWEVER, the doo-hickies that fit in the rail (that look like a pair of Levi's Jeans buttons) come off and leave two very nice beveled screw holes. I have mounted mine using nuts and bolts right into the stock. I have absolutely no doubt this bipod would hold 35 pounds, in fact, it would hold 135 pounds no problem. I just stood with my 6'1" 280 pounds on my bipod and it holds that sort of weight just fine. (off the rifle of course)

Fatso. :p

I ain't gonna quote my own stats, though.

Thanx for the info Obtunded. It will get switched between several rifles, though.

He's not Fat...He's my friend. :D

Thats the beauty of this setup. You can get multiple adapter plates and switch 1 bipod between many rifles.

I think I have 4 guns with adapters on them now. Mine are all on Anschutz style rails that are inletted into the stock. But nothing says you can't bolt 1 adapter to each gun you will be using.

Here are 3 of the 4

I have to say a big THANKS !!....to Obtunded and Cyanide for the Ski-Pod info. Mine arrived today and its the cat's meow...can't wait for my dear Wife to install it after she has cooked dinner, finished vacuuming, and laundry.
It will work really well on the 50, ....now all I need is a truck axle for towing the gun.
Seriously the Ski-Pod is awesome, workmanship is terrific ! :)
