Cleaned up again. Don't know why this thread has to be such a goat rodeo. If it goes sideways again we'll just lock it up. Try to place nice folks.
 
The gear locker photo comes from the book "No Easy Day" by Mark Owen. He was one of the Navy Seals that went on the raid that killed OBL
I'm not sure if it was his kit locker or just a stock photo, but he did describe all of the weapons in it.
 
Weird, all this time I thought it was a Navy SEAL that killed OBL. Apparently now guns are able to track down targets, aim at them and fire themselves.
Seriously though, I'm pretty sure that a SEAL could have killed OBL with a Norinco, or a rolled up newspaper for that matter.

This pic was supplied by Larry Vickers. He was involved in the development of the 416 when the US mil was looking for an M4 replacement. He was still in special operations at the time (Delta). This in his words "IS the actual gun used to kill Bin laden".

I have no reason to doubt that. The deal with the HK logo is likely just their promotional angle. It is NOT a mockup. Armchair marketing guys would not have put that combo together, let alone paint it like a guy in the field.

Pics of this weapon were going to surface at some point. Its probably going into a military museum somewhere, maybe beside the AK the SEALs recovered from above Bin Ladens bed.
 
Where's the proof bl is actually dead? Just cause potus says so, don't make it so. Don't buy the whole 'we don't want to upset the muslim world' claim either. If military personnel are under orders to say or not say, they will do as commanded out of duty to the country. I find it interesting how many have accepted as truth without seeing any evidence of proof, which could have easily been provided.

Does that tinfoil hat get itchy? Do some research. Multiple heads of states were provided with proof. (NATO command etc) They are not obligated to provide proof to every tinbird personally.
