Our robins don't usally leave at all anymore. Not like it was when I was a kid. But it's usually pretty balmy in these parts of B.C. where I'm at anyway... Your robins are pretty darn brave, though.

Too early for them here. We get the Varied Thrush ahead of the Robins by a few weeks. I have to do a double take in the early spring and check to see if it's a Thrush or Robin, they look so much alike at first glance. Any way, even the Thrush's won't be here for a while yet. Saw some beauty Pine Gross Beaks at the feeders today. 5 males and 4 females. The males were exceptionally bright.

Great Pix.

I heard on the radio yesterday that there were ducks laying eggs in Toronto????
I don't know how true this is but that is what I heard.

Cheers

I saw a pair of robins Saturday as well . I was out crow hunting when they flew past . Pretty darn strange !! Usually I expect to see them around the first of April .
