The game scenes are enamel. It is a difficult technique because the enamel must adhere to the steel under all conditions. Very hard to accomplish since steel contracts and expands at different rates than enamel.

i never really liked 'scenes' painted/engraved/carved on guns or stocks, but the forend shape/geometry on that is really sweet.

I have to say... I really like it for what it is... unique...

I prefer the stock carving to the game scenes... but to have such a unique gun... that is cool... Think of how boring stock, factory produced shotguns, or rifles are... you know exactly what it will look like, just by knowing the model number... I don't really think black on black with synthetic stocks guns are all that nice... practical (which this one certainly isn't)... but boring...
