The SKS ammo volume 12 step?

I have noticed that since I got my SKS last spring, that I now cannot leave the house with less then 200 rounds for any kind of rifle.

I may never use all at the range, but I just feel sort of ill prepared with less then that amount.

This is conflicting with my hard wired pack/travel light, but be über prepared instinct.

I also blame my .22 rimfire rifle for this conditioning because of them handy 500 round bulk packs.

Maybe selling off my more expensive to feed safe Queens for a second SKS would solve this dilemma.
Anyway, I just thought I'd share.

yup, 200 sounds about right, thats the amount that i can fit into my nato ammo steel box.

Well you'll need a Viet-cong chest harness so you an now carry 20rnds strapped to your chest, along with the steel canister.

I have one already. I swear by them, and often buy them just to give to fellow SKS owners that haven't discovered the joy yet...spreading the condition.
