Great collection! No Izzy in there?
Not yet but i will try to fix that in spring i hope.

That Iraqi stamp 56 is cool! How did you come across it? Random purchase or hunt it out?

You need Yugos!!!
I bought this SKS from Century,Montreal in 1995,my first true milsurp. Was fair-good condition,no bayonet,no cleaning rod paid $79 if i remember well. The rifle wouldn't work well because the gas tube was so loose, too much pressure lost.Stock beaten to hell so i refinished with tung oil and replaced the gas tube, put the bayo and the cleaning rod. Work perfectly since thoses day. This SKS was my farm rifle( i work on a farm) until i got my CZ858. I find out about 3 years ago that the SKS was Iraqi issued at some time, yooper john told me.

hey Andy, you still have the 49 with blade bayo i sold to you? If you ever get tired of it let me know but ot now i'm broke:(

Joce

Yes I do!

I know how to buy, but am not so good at selling! For SKS's, it's four '49's and one '49 parts gun. Bought them when they were going for $250. Have some K98 RC's from when they were $350 too, but neither will ever go up in value (said the "experts") - a real dummy huh? ;)

They all look the same... LOL jk.
Really nice collection. I totally get why people collect, I'm on the same path.
I'm digg'n the Iraqi
