The Gunwerks Skunkwerks projects are always interesting and highly anticipated. Limited innovative runs of never to be repeated R&D-turned-reality collector pieces, that always deliver a cool take and theme on firearms.

Gunwerks Skunkwerks Projects

The TAF (Tiny As F@ck) combines Gunwerks new hinged folding ClymR based stock, with an 11.25" C60 contour Gunwerks' carbon fiber barrel chambered in 6 ARC, topped with a Leupold Mark 5HD 2-10...with a custom Yeti tumbler, a Tübr humidor, a couple of Guy Fieri Knuckle Sandwich cigars on the side, all tucked into a custom Pelican Air case. Of COURSE the suppressors remained south of our border...

Is that a TAF in your pocket or...

  • Folded Length (Unsuppressed): 19.5 inches
  • Deployed Length (Suppressed): 30.5 inches

6 ARC - Low Recoil, High Efficiency

Bullet: 105 Hunting VLD
Velocity: 2300 fps (approx.)
  • Expansion velocity out to 500 yards
  • Remarkable precision at over 600 yards
  • Consistent impacts at 1000 yards

that's really nice,

Do you know availability / price?
Completely wild guess from me.

12k.

Super cool idea though.
Hopefully the barrel is long enough for hunting in BC.

Edit. Nope.. too short to legally be used for hunting. Poor decision by the company. I’d wager that B.C. isn’t the only place that has the 12.5” barrel minimum. Or maybe it is… shrug.

Currently, only BC has a barrel length restriction with respect to hunting. In general, non-Canadian firearms companies do not keep abreast of the rules outside of their domestic market unless specifically guided/requested.

Previously, we have worked with Gunwerks to have Skunkwerks rifles modified so that they are "palatable" for the Canadian market. For example the Lite SabR was an integrally suppressed firearm but Gunwerks produced a number of them specifically for us using a standard carbon fiber barrel...one of their all-time coolest and most accurate builds. Likewise, we ordered a number of modified Rim Reapers to allow import into Canada. There were many requests for the Accountant, however given that the US demand was insane for that build (thanks to Donald Trump Jr.) it wasn't worth spending more money to "Canadianize" it vs. just selling through. With the TAF, there were already sufficient administrative hurdles complicating and delaying export/import (we waited over 9 months), that building a few with slightly longer barrels wasn't feasible - custom barrels would have to be ordered meaning increased cost and delays...if at all.

Cliff Gray, an american social media guy did an interview with the owner of gunwerks. It doesnt take long to figure out what he thinks about Canada and our laws.

Absolutely fair point.
I should have assumed BC was the only one.
Guess they don’t lose much market when they have all the USA and the rest of Canada.

That 12.5” SBR looks great at a good price, that 6.5 with peak would absolutely rip. Getting some in stock?
