The Smith & Wesson Unicorn Revolver

I am smart enough to never say never but at this point in time it would have to be something very special or something that I really wanted to let it go.

As I said before I have never even seen one before, only heard about them until now.

I completely understand, that is how I feel about my unfired, NIB Python....if I didn't have the King Cobra, I'm sure it would have been to the range already, but the KC keeps me happy enough to leave the Python alone. Well, if you ever feel the burning desire to try your hand on the Colt, give me a shout....or maybe we can arrange a short term loan? Hahaha....

Some nominally 4" S&W revolvers have a barrel that is longer than 4.13" (105mm) due to manufacturing variances, as the barrels are fitted to the frames. There are probably 12(6) guns out there that have not been correctly verified that are actually restricted.

Behooves all of you with S&W's with short barrels that are registered as 12(6) prohibs to measure the barrels to see if indeed they are over.

Checked all mine but sadly not a unicorn amongst them. :(

Very nice 586, though!
