Isn't that the truth, this one was shaping up to be suspiciously smooth lol.

I've been a customer of both companies in question for years, I'd like AE to address what all the exclusivity talk was about and why post #166 is now gone "for clarity".
 
AE shot themselves in the foot - my opinion.

A CGN dealer who is going to remand unnamed, captured my feelings on this subject in one sentence.

"Companies that want to play this game long term learn that customers have very long memories.... Be fair and business will come."

So there is no confusion - i have bought more then few geissele triggers and accessories from A.E over last 10 years.

Don't get me wrong I'm glad they put up the FRT work. I just had my share of bs. The #166 is exactly what startled me ...

For the record I've never done business with either Ae or Irg.
 
I could care less about all this whining and carrying on. Some folks just need to feed of the drama they help create.

I'll stick with Arms East as it is clear to me that they have stepped up to the plate to bring us a quality AR10 platform..... could care less if they don't have exclusivity and could care less if I could play the game and get one a wee bit cheaper. At least they haven't manufactured something and @ss raped us with the NR tax .... Nor are they manufacturing and releasing a product to use us all as guinea pigs like it seems is the common practice in canadian firearms and accessory manufacturing.....

way bigger real world issues facing all of us every day to be sitting on the internet trying to pry up every crack looking for drama to be involved in.
 
I have bought from both and I am certainty not ready to throw blame at eather business. If we learnt one thing from the 10x debacle is that sometimes the dealer might not be at fault. We don't know what transpired. At this point it's all speculations , could be AE that claimes exclusivity without having it, could be IRG that pryed Stag, could be Stag that mislead AE or switch there policies... we dont know and id bet AE are trying to straith things out.
 
AE is playing a game. Making false statements to scare people off from buying from anyone but them, getting corrected publicly by Stag and then AE deleting what they posted. If they had any integrity they would retract their statements and post a correction. Stag posted on CGN there is no exclusive dealer arrangement with AE while AE claimed anyone that ordered one of these rifles from AztkArmory or IRG or anyone else wouldn't get theres. Seems these guns are open to any Canadian importer and I imagine we will be seeing these for sale shortly from a lot of other Canadian dealers that import their own product or seems Canadians can order directly from Stag. This keeps dealers honest and the prices down compared to when one company has exclusive dist rights and therefore a monopoly on that product

Being told that your order won't process if not bought from them is far from whining. If you like bs you can have it all you can eat bud... On the othr hand i totally agree with the nr tax and other mfg...

I would like to know, it will be my last order from AE if they lied to us. Also my friends are looking at ordering a complete 308, I will tell them to order elsewhere.

I do not work for any dealer. You can look at my public posts and see where it has been disclosed multiple times who I worked for up until two years ago. I have no affiliation with them anymore (also posted publicly) and its not like its a secret that I used to work for them (IRG). We parted on decent terms which is always better than a bitter divorce. Unfortunately for me I get no deals or special treatment from them so I buy my stuff from whoever has it available , the price etc. Gadget are you Walter from AE?

I caution to allow AE a couple of days to sort this out. We don't yet know the full story.

Read my posts in IRG's forum... I had my doubts Stag was posting there.. but apparently its been confirmed as true. I assumed as AE posted they did have exclusivity in Canada but IRG was going to bring them in anyways..

I agree. I placed the order and then contacted them to get out as this BS came out. 20% cancellation fee. For something they don’t even have yet. I’m pissed. So, I will pay their price but likely not going to buy from them again. And likely won’t be singing their praises. Sort of shortsighted on their part. They should at least price match.
