Probably cause this exercise was done to set a price precedent for the expected goverment bye back!

Exactly. Sure as ####... If i did a last minute sale of these, the liberals would use THAT price as the "buy out" price and everyone who stepped up early would get screwed.

To be honest... We'll be sold out in a few minutes regardless. I am overwhelmed with the support!

Yeah, not sure it would leave the best taste in the mouth of people who bought them yesterday or day before

You should have offered uppers separately as well. I'm sure there are a few here that would have wanted to add multiple uppers to their order.

I honestly thought I'd sell a dozen or so of these and call it "a day". I never made any plans, given the rush to sell separate uppers and lowers. The long term plan was to offer many combinations... but that got interrupted by an arbitrary and unjust (read: illegal) and inappropriate change to the FRT.

No one is arguing that I'm breaking any laws, but the RCMP have a loooooong history of being punitive regardless. Which is why I am voluntarily pulling these from the market until my case, and/or any of the other's is heard.

So..... with the recent change to the FRT, we are unsure as to the status of this firearm, we are voluntarily ceasing any further sales. We have engaged legal and are in discussions with other affected parties to challenge this, but the risks to continue selling are too great.

Everyone who bought one, will receive their receiver set/s in due course.

I now get to hold the record for the shortest lived sales of a non-restricted firearm in Canada... for now! ;-)

Thank you for your continued support!

Sincerely,

JR

JR, I recently had my first interaction with your store - and I can tell you it will not be the last. I was happy and impressed with your and your staff's service, dedication to safe and legal firearms business, and efforts to maintain the legal rights of Canadians.

Especially with taking on the distribution of Sterling Arms products, which I am receiving no bad news on - apparently top quality all around!

I appreciate your making available these options to Canadians, and wish you all the best in your court challenge and the greater overall struggle - you have my support!

Excellent. Now delete this thread. ;)

The last two comments are spot on, for those that ordered, what records will be kept to balance both a warranty (I am sure hopeful that some sort of support should be made to those who bit the bullet and put their money where their mouth is, in the event that some manufacturing issues, etc. come up) and the expectation that the state/Liberal police will come looking for who owns these.

I think I have a proven track record of looking after people if an issue comes up ;-)

We do have sales records but they would have to be requested by the courts.
