The Sweetest Bullpup in Canada BUT.......

You would have to replace the entire trigger pack with a full auto one and on current models that would require modifications to the MP5 or the trigger pack..... not more difficult than many semi-autos out there that are still non-restricted.

Must be a different version than the semi-auto that I shot. You could make it fully-auto in seconds. Fun!

Did everyone else sleep soundly last night knowing these baby killers are NOT in the hands of law abiding citizens

Its the only thing that puts me to sleep anymore. Knowing law abiding citizens don't own an AUG or variant. Good thing all bullpups are banned nobody can own one because they're 10x as deadly as the evil AR-15. If I were to find out that people could own one, I don't think I could fall asleep ever again.

Can't the company just rebrand the sucker for sale up north? Is it just that simple? I am just dreaming...sorry

You're telling me there are no full auto MP5's ?

Full auto MP5s exist and are also prohibited, but under the general prohibited full auto class (12.2 Lic. holder), as are converted auto MP5s (12.3 Lic holder) if any exist. The 12.5 class is intended for the civilian semi-auto variant. The AK-47 exists in FA as well as commercial semi-auto versions as well, as do many other firearms.

12.5 for the semi auto. 12.2 for a full auto. 12.3 for a converted auto. Im assuming this newly MFG'd one would be semi auto only, so 12.5

AUGs and variants are 12(4), but these particular guns would not fall under any grandfathered class, as they were imported after the cutoff date for individuals to have registered guns prohibited by that particular order in council.

ps: what the frak am I doing in Quebec, you may ask ? well... long story.

LOL, I am in the same boat, I don't speak French. Suprising to most people is that my work, friends, family, and every organization I am part of outside of work operate in English.

Just saying.

*hides in the corner* I see black darkness! Gimme WOOD! WOOOOOD! *chuckle* Milsurps for the win. Wood, Metal and Big Rounds. Poodle hunting cartridges need not apply.

I stand corrected! You are absolutely right.
