I am looking to do an "authentic" QBZ95 clone as close as possible to enjoy with a friend from China. Is there a obtainable pla issued optic, sling and bayonet available? The brass catcher might be a good choice for any leftys that may want to try!

Optics are unobtanium. The few that did come into the country were via the black market and the original importer was jailed, I believe. There are slings and bayonets available on Ebay, but I'm pretty sure the bayonets are Taiwanese replicas.

The slings are a available on eBay, getting the actual bayonet is moot as these dont have the bayo lugs. The make a after market one that attaches from a block but only fits m4 bayonet that first have to be modified and shortened 1/8 of inch to afford the block add on. There is no way to obtain the correct optics either, not to mention these have a 97 lower not a correct 95 lower with trigger hand guard. Plus it has a ar15 mag well and not the rock and lock flat AK type mag well and release 95s have. Caliber is wrong too lol just enjoy it forcwhat it is, a Canadian Frankenstein of a 95
Really? I know of one. Kinda neat, very east block feeling.

I have the optic but, I am not selling it at the moment.
As to the bayonet? You could possibly snake the bayonet mount off of a "Realsword" Type 97 airsoft gun.
Allegedly, they are built with as much of the factory parts as possible. You could then find and purchase a "export" bayonet model, if that is a thing and not just left to the purchaser.
I believe the current Chinese QBZ use a M9 copy.
Ask the ebay member "china-pla-supplies" to see if he can find a bayonet for you. He was extremely helpful when I was asking if he could get a hold of the brass catchers.
