Yes it's easy to do, there is special wrench. CanAm doesn't recomend doing it at the range though, but it could be done if you really wanted to.

For those wanting to built a STAR 21 w/picatinny rail, the actual scope on it is a 4x Trijicon ACOG, probably a TA-01.. Found this info on a website.
I just want a STAR 21 factory, out of the box. And that ACOG looks like it has a candycane. Do they make a TA01 like that? My TA01NSN doesn't have one.
You are right, they never specified on which 4x it was, on the pic, it is likely a TA31 (Assuming the STAR is a 16'') if a 20'' it would the RCO A4 series.
The TA01 would do the job for the 18.7'' that we're getting me thinks..
