The TAVOR

I am going nutz here waiting for this rifle. Another day down and still no tracking number :( My XCR is also supposed to be in in the next couple weeks too and that is driving me crazy as well. Sucks that when I finally have the financial means to buy such excellent tools I am still forced to wait. I need a time machine to shoot me 2-3 weeks in the future lol.

Ardent's little spiel also convinced me that it was a good idea to pick one of these up and I'm not really a fan of the design. Hopefully, it will win me over at the range. Ardent, you'd make a good sales person. :p

Yeah... I have been checking my email about five times a day!:D
 
I have been checking mine way in excess of 5 times a day. Been going nutz since I got the call last week monday and since thursday when my credit card was charged. I am just like a little kid at christmas when it comes to things like this.

I know how you feel... I have been waiting for a year now since I placed my order. I didn't even wait to be called, I called them when the first notice came out about confirming orders and confirmed my order with Mark. My credit card doesn't show any charges yet though.I was hoping to have it for a shoot this weekend.:( I will be glad when I finally have it in my hands.:cool:
 
Now been 8 days since my credit card has been billed. So much pain in the wait. If I really like it when I test it out I might have to order another one. It would be nice to have both my Tavor and XCR for my next set of days off 26,27,28 the Tavor is likely but my XCR is less likely. Then I could take em both out for sighting, testing and breaking in. I bought 3000 rounds of 223 a few months ago for this moment. Probably going to have to buy alot more. :)
 
I got my XCR last January, but had to send it back after only shooting a few rounds (headspace problems). Now I'm waiting on two guns. It seems like forever...

it depends on what province you are in. In BC the only limitation is rifle being cenrefire. Which means 223 is perfectly legal. Will it kill dear? I say yes. The only unpleasanty with 223 in my opinion is round being so fast creates too big of bloodshot cavity with dynamic wave. Some slow big heavy bullets do much better job. That is if you are planning to eat what you shoot.
 
Never hunted in BC but Saskatchewan where I grew up and in Alberta less than 6mm/.243 is jail time and a hefty fine. Though I agree the correct bullet in a 223 with good shot placement is suitable for deer.
