The TAVOR

Hmmm, quite a bit of difference between different rails and ideas, which should make it easy to find the perfect height for any optic. The Dlask looks to be as low as feasible (1/2"?) and will likely need a riser for most sights/scopes. My homemade at 3/4" also needs a riser for most scopes, and is a bit low for an Acog. Hopefully one of the others coming soon will be 1" high, so an Acog will mount perfectly for me and high rings should hold a scope up without the need for an extra riser.

Any idea when we are going to be able to buy some more?
the chances of finding a tavor are like the chances of finding a non restricted ar.

From that link...

Weapon capable of being used in a carbine role with capability to fire 5.56X30 mm and 9X19 mm rounds with an accuracy upto 200 m

Never heard of this round, and I tend to pay attention to such things. Any info? Using "the Google" gives this result:
http://www.google.ca/search?client=...l=en&q="5.56+x+30mm"&meta=&btnG=Google+Search
However it seems to be a round for the M1 Carbine, so a different head diameter.

Not really, just jealous is all. Anybody wanna put me up if I can make it to Canada this spring or summer?

How close are you to the Knob Creek MG shoot in Kentucky?

Offer to be a tour guide for a Canuck that wants to get their ya-yas out at Knob Creek.

I live on the west coast, so I do my machine gunning at Albany OR, but someone will take you up on it, I'm sure.

This Tavor sure arrived quickly!
Israel just finish testing them in Gaza and the rifle is already spread arround the world.
Let's hope it is not a copy of some other rifle like the uzi (vz26), the jericoh (cz75) or the galil (ak47).
Personaly - thank you, but no!
