The TAVOR

Just got off the phone with Chris. The extra rails, etc will be in roughly six weeks after the first delivery run.:dancingbanana:

I also got an email today, saying to call them and confirm my order. Unfortunately, I won't be doing so. The delivery date was pushed back too many times, I've now got other things on the go. Maybe in a few months I'll pick one up off the EE.

Imagine, they might be here before Christmas! To actually have it delivered will be the greatest present to myself. Then, it's just a matter of making VISA payments - but that too will be a pleasure.

tavor....

heya canam, we know you have preordered for lots of folks.. but you have probably also brought in extras? how long do you think until your next order? or since this is the first... it is the tough one to get all the logistics setup. Now once it is all up and running, will orders with be bi/semi/annually. Just curious how it works out of israel?

i was woundering canam , i am going down to US for a PSD course late summer and i would like to take TAR 21 because i have a m4 but its not above 16 in barrel (alos like to pixxed off my class mates, most of them are SF TYPES and they think they are hot shxx sorry! long story). before i get form6 ATF i would like to know is it possbile because US ATF ladies(actually the dep run by really nice lady form tex and others i love them!) are nice but they are over worked and i dont want to take their time not saying you are not over worked by the way).please

Not likely as the Tavor is a "non-sporting" rifle in the US.

thank you for a fast answer, you are the best!, but last time i was in US i took a ar180b (i would never buy another ar180 ever !god awful rifle personaly i think )and a sig p226. they did not have problem with it. so i am guessing ar180b is a sporting rifle? also do you think you can find the way to get a FX-05 rifle in canada? i know its not even issue to general unit but you manage to do that with tar 21.i am sure you are thinking about it. i think alot of guys want to find G36 looking rifle with possible lower price tag.(well anything lower that 11000 $ is cheap!

But the 180b is US made and the 226 is a handgun. The Tavor is neither. Very different situation. Hence why the Tavor is not sold in the US, neither are any other foreign made "non-sporting" rifles.

That's a good one. The likelyhood of Mexico selling them anytime soon, let alone a civie model is incredibly remote, and yes I have thought about it. ;)

Yeah! Got my call today!

Now to decide which kidney I wish to sell...

It's good to see that we have at least a few things that are better on our side that on theirs.

Does anyone have an idea how UMC 55 gr ammo will run in the Tavor...?

I just ordered 1000 rnds.:sniper::dancingbanana:

I have a Hornady progressive which I plan on using for reloading...but I thought I would just buy 1 batch of bulk ammo then save the brass.
