The stuff runs pretty well, I also tested some federal HP ammo on it and it also ran fine. If I remember right the Tavor likes to dent the brass upon ejection, so keep that in mind.
 
So in this first shipment that's coming that people are being phoned about, are there only the Unrestricted ones or are there are few short barrelled ones too?

Yeah on the Dec 29 demo it dented most of the brass. Would still be good to reload though, IMO. As for the '33, was just on a course where a gentlemen using a '53, didn't seem to have a problem with dented brass, is it more of a full auto thing?

Does it kinda look like this? My Norinco Type 97 Shorty did this to my brass...

The biggest cost of most guns is the ammo, over the lifetime of the gun.

1K/year at @0.40 each = $400. Over five years that's $2K. If you cut the costs in half (very doable with 5.56) you save $1000, which you can put into a new gun.

1K/year is only 80 rounds per month, which is easy to exceed with regular training and an occasional match. Or just regular plinking.

Please tell me you're an accountant by trade...you just ruined all my gun fun.. now I have to think costs ....pppft screw it .. I'm denting brass baby and not worried ... I'll have to find a way to make more $$ than saving it :dancingbanana::D
 
Tavor

First time I got to see the Tavor in Person(Kamloops Gun show):D even cooler than I thought it would be.Just wish they could speed the boat up a bit
