It looks like the eotech co-witnesses with the iron sights. Is that true?

If so, would that mean the mepro 21 that came with the tavor origionally would co-witness with AR-15 iron sights?

Yes it does co-witness. The Meprolite, however, is not on a picatinny base. It is slightly wider so it will not automatically fit on an AR rail. You would have to buy a different base which I would like to do as well. Kimber, in New York, might sell one.

I just did this with an Eotech 552. Excellent swap. Everything lines up perfectly. I haven't shot it yet, but functionally, and esthetically I think this is an ideal sight for this carbine.

My Mepro mounted fine on the standard rail. The base is left on the Tavor to mount Dlask's rail to.

They just received a load of the updated bolt design and left-hand bolts. You may want to give them a call or send them an email to see if any complete rifles made it in that haven't already been spoken for.

Ive been stalking them for a couple months now. They say "later in the year" for when they are getting them in. I think it has to do with the deflated dollar and the higher price they would have to charge for them more than the T97 crisis, but I cant imagine that has helped their purchasing capitol situation.
