I was changing stations when I happen to glance down and saw something catch my eye. I thought that looks like a forend part? I knelt down and picked it up and put it in my pocket and when the round was over took it out to inspect it. I am not sure which make and model this came off of but I do recall one evening two fellows who were non-members dropping in and both had their guns fall apart on the line. One was a new single shot field gun of some type and the other a new tactical style pump. I do recall both were turkish guns of some brand. This must be the reason the single came apart. If this piece broke and came off I can't see the gun staying together? And yes it's plastic and definitely not a model meant for volume shooting. I've never seen either of the fellows come back. I would assume they may be having issues getting parts and/or warranty or clay target shooting just didn't appeal to them after having a negative experience shooting poor quality guns.

Looks like a chunk off the single shot, , looks like the piece of the fore grip where it clips back into the receiver end of the gun, if that makes sense..lol

I found the gas piston from my wifes A400 one day. We didn't know it had come off when she disassembled the gun to case it. About two weeks had gone by and I'm out one day and saw some kind of part half pressed into the grass near a picnic table. I picked it up and thought that looks like the gas piston from her gun. Brought it home and sure enough she had not seen it fall off when she removed the barrel. She had been standing next to that table disassembling the gun.

Found a fully loaded 15 round mag from an RCMP S&W at our spring PITA shoot a couple of years ago. During their qualifications they were running from the trap field to the rifle range before engaging targets and somebody didn't have all his battle rattle tied down. The Alaskan shooters there were confused as to why this was a big deal and then really confused when we told them possession of a 15 round mag in Canada might be good for some jail time.

A metal detector at some of the longer standing busy clubs would be hilarious.

Won't work on turkish gun parts, not enough metal in them for the detector to read....:p

Probably find a mint in Perazzi and Beretta pieces.

Doesn't happen with Remingtons though because they come with this heavy duty carry case to put all your parts in......

I’m not the ah who posts trash cans as cases for Remingtons. But carry on.

I've owned enough Remingtons at one time that I feel that's where they belong. I've never had to pull my Perazzi's, Beretta's or Browning's apart on the line to fix them to get through an event but I sure have had my share of breakdowns with 1100's & 11-87's on the line, enough so that I haven't owned or shot one since 1990.

I'm a Remington owner and found the trash can post funny !!! Some people get their knickers in a twist about everything !! Carry on Spank, I enjoy your posts. And Mr Tomlinson still hasn't answered me …..
