Not too long ago, I decided it there should be a Cap and Ball Revolver somewhere close to keep me company. After looking at several options. I decided on a 1858 Remington New Model Army, by Pietta.

Decisions made, time to track one down. Searched EE and sponsoring dealers. On Friday, April 18th, mid afternoon, I made the phone call to Del Selins a Great Gunshop in Vernon. After talking with Brandon, I decided on a pair of them. He gave me a price, one could hardly refuse. After giving him the info necessary, I get a PM saying that the transfer is underway.

Yesterday, Tuesday April 22rd, I receive another PM saying the transfer has been approved and the twins are on their way. :dancingbanana: Wednesday, April 23, at precisely 9:50 am, the postman delivers the twins. :dancingbanana: From conception on the 18th to birth in my hot little hands, April 23rd, less than 5 days, that includes the weekend. Now to watch them grow.

BEAUTIFUL man... just beautiful...

However, I am upset that you can actually order, purchase, transfer and ship 2 guns out west in less than a week, when here in bantario it takes 2 months just to do the transfer!..

One more reason to abandon the backward horde that has you surrounded.

Beautiful. Now we need pics of them in action. I love pics of twins in action.

Actually we surround the cesspool in Bantario (aka Miller-ville). Too bad,we can't sever it off and ship it to some desolate place with a good spraying of tuberculosis as good measure.

The Remington was one of the most attractive pistols ever designed IMO. I have always wanted one, but hate to think of the cleanup involved after shooting black powder. Is pyrodex more cleanup friendly?

Nope.
Black powder, pyrodex, 777.. all of them leave a mess that takes a long time to clean up..
Just another reason that I rarely shoot my cap and ball revolver.

Nice pair of wheelguns....

I always wanted a matched set, sequential serial numbers, stainless 5 1/2" Ruger Vaqueros in .357 Mag with faux ivory grips.

No particular reason, I just want 'em...
