I already own a Rossi .410 with the 28 in barrel, but I am lately thinking about getting a 20ga. for a little more versatility.

Although I think that the Rossi in the youth version would be a good fit for me, I was wondering if any other options were viable. This would be a gun for walking during long periods in various terrain and wood density so something short and light is preferable. I am mostly looking for something new here cause it's not worth the trouble dealing with a used one for the price differance...Although I really like my buddy's CIL :runaway:

Another friend of mine has a Stoeger and I like the vented barrel and all but I feel that, for the add on weight, it could be expandeble for my application. The baikal has really spiked my curiosity since they are pretty scarce around here. I also heard that they were tough and durable, which goes a long way for me...

So guys, please feel free to share you thoughts on the subject. Thanks :)

Thanks to those who have posted, I've yet to make my choice but I am leaning towards the Baikal. One question I have though: is the safety easy to oparate with gloves? The last time I took my 12ga. pump out I missed a grouse fumbling with the safety while wearing gloves. After that, I opted to freeze my hands instead of missing another one. So I kinda like the external hammer of the Rossi cause it has the falling block type safety and you can ####/uncock with gloves on...
