In every man's life tough decisions must be made. But the most difficult question just may be:

20" barrel OR 16" barrelled AR-15?

Eventually I will own both, but what to get first?

Feel free to chime in and convince me what to do.

16" You only use it at ranges anyhow.
Maybe a longer barreled rifle for hunting.
You could use the 20 " in service rifle competitions (I think ?)

7" upper!!!!is a blast and real fast to handle....

16" is the best allround...

I've got a 16" 'tacti-cool' rifle and it's a great all-round shooter and still short enough to put all the go-fast accessories on. Lots of fun.

My next AR will be a 20" classic A2 style, bone stock.

Been debating this question for a bit now and decided to go with a 20" over the 16"....I like the higher velocity...Though depending on what you plan to do with it...the 16" is a bit more egrnomic....R..

I have won three gun matchs 100 meters max range with the 16" 11.5 and 7" uppers..... for anything over 100 meters stay with the 16"

they all shoot good just get a lot louder;) :D .......
