You are on the ball. I thought that when I took the pics, the plus is the bar is one third the price, but a crappier mag.

Looks a lot better than its' original state. You have definitely given it a new life, I like it with the scope mounted. You could slice the barrel down to 18" that would make her faster to swing.

I also like what you did to the BAR

That Magazine system is the only reason I don't own a BAR and likely accounts for the fact I've never owned a Browning Center Fire rifle. The Mag on the BLR is much more appealing to me and they have done away with it on the X-Bolt so maybe one day.

Armstech fixed it with the original 300WM BARS about 20 years ago. This is what I was hoping to build, but it requires original BAR military mags, and a goodly amount of mods and fab.
