Nerf guns are ok but they aren't tacticool. They're orange and yellow and shoot foam pillows. The old toy guns from the sixties where green and black and fired hard plastic projectiles. Hands down way better than anything nerfish. When I was a kid we had lawn darts, clackers, potato guns, fire crackers, all kinds of lethal toys that made being a kid a real adventure, and taught some basic common sense. I used to run around in the Don Valley with a daisy bb gun. Try doing that now. ETF will take you down.

yah every body lost the darts but still played with the guns and sometimes shot pencils out of them lol

I had an airfix FN FAL with bayonet and hard plastic bullets. It looked like the real thing. I loved it. Then we moved on the M16 or AR10 (sort of). We used to spend whole days out in the fields playing.

Mine lasted about a month until I destroyed it! Why I have no idea...it was a cool toy while it lasted though.
I grew up in a small northern town where the bush is only ever a stones throw away and we used to have bb gun wars in the back woods when I was a kid we also shot a lot of squirls and what not with the .22 lol
