LOL! That image appears to have been 'enhanced' with a felt-tip marker. PA scopes and reticles are pretty nice if you take the time to learn them.

It is a frigging SKS I don't see the problem, lots of work I would not bother doing , but his gun, he can do what the hell he wants with it.
I would have done the hand grips different, more angle, kind of FN FAL thing

When the OP started this thread, I didn't think he could make anything. But I like the result, even if it might end up as a wall hanger. And he didn't destroy a nice SKS. And it's UNIQUE.

Yup, it was just a Chicom SKS. If you're going to hack anything up, they're a great choice.

Maybe in 50 years they will be collectable. I doubt it.

I like it. Its waaaaay nicer to look at than a sks-15. Or that break action 12 gauge from a couple years ago where the owner made a pistol grip stock from a 2x6 and put a machine screw into the barrel for a front bead. Or my 10/22 grease gun.....
