Must be painful but nothing to compare with a AG42 thumb..... The former owner of my AG42 had a finger crush by the bolt, the rifle didnt have an empty mag in place...ouch!Guess garands are after more than just thumbs now.
What movie is that from?
I've never had this problem with a garand mine have always pushed in and clicked and then I've always had to manually push the op rod forward. Heck I've even tried to let it go forward on it's own and they won't.

Ya mines the same, sometimes it will go forward on its own but others it needs the garand bump.
Old tired oprod spring. After replacing mine the bolt drops as soon as I take pressure off the top round.
