The Unofficial Dominion Arms Outlaw Thread

Alright you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my boomstick! The twelve-gauge double-barreled Dominion Arms. Can-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in the PRC. Retails for about two ninety five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop Can-Mart.

You got that?

According to canam - next year and price will be set once the dollar settles down and he's ready to place the order. Too hard to say right now.

I showed the Girlfriend and she shook her head at me.. Ill be getting one anyway, cause its too awesome to pass up.

So if they were manufactured with a pistol grip would they be restricted or prohibited? Because I'd buy one with a pistol grip even if it was restricted, it would be too cool for words. But I highly doubt it..

Why would you want to screw up a nice double barrel like that with a pistol grip stock??
Because I'm awesome.. And Sean Connery used one, so it must be awesome as well.

As far as i understand the 'pistol grip' version would technically be non-restricted, but the cops may well have a very different impression of it.

I'd like to see a 'pistol grip' version that had a partial buttstock, like in the movie 'eldorado'. The idea being that it would help with weight to balance the gun a bit. That might make it slightly more acceptable to the police :)

But really if you want to wear it on your belt - it occured to me that with minor mods these two systems have promise -

The first one:

This would only need the addition of a velcro or fast release strap where the loop goes around your belt. That would wrap around the stock grip right near where the trigger guard is and hold it firmly in place. The nice thing about that is it would then be strappable to anything - pack, left side, right side, whatever.

The similar rig would be this one -

I've owned both, and both work well for regular rifles and i could easily see them being very good for short barreled guns with stocks too.

I've sold 6 of them already.....in theory of course....but I want 2 and I have 4 non-CGNers ready to slap cash down.....as soon as we hear more details.

soo......

That rack or guns labelled dominion arms outlaw....those were just what? Beta-testers?

I believe that was at the manufacturing center in china - not canam's place. That may be his order being filled but that's only 20 guns in that picture, chances are he's ordered a lot more than that.

But the price will likely be set in american dollars, and not paid until delivery so to speak. So - Until he's actually ready to pay the final bill he won't know what it's going to cost him in CANADIAN dollars, because it's fluctuating too much. Therefore he doesn't know the price. I'd guess he probably doesn't know the price of shipping either - that's been doing some funky stuff too.

Pretty simple stuff. Kinda surprised you didn't figure that out on your own :) The guns are supposed to be here in the new year, i'm sure we'll hear the price a little while before they arrive, just like we did with the griz.

He is probably also waiting for the Christmas shipping to be done, they jack prices on containers now.

Well not to mention the slow, brutally painful process of dealing with the gov't for actually importing the guns.

This isn't exactly the same as a box of mandarin oranges or something :)
