You have to read all 13 pages - the tests just get crazier and crazier. Although none survived, I'd have to say the Troy magazines are the worst - and the Tapko the best.

Haven't read the thread yet, but I wonder if he did a feed-lips-down-loaded-mag'-drop--onto-concrete test? The lips break off the Thermold ones. Seen it with my own eyes.

Edit - read the thread, and see that he didn't have any great problems.

That full rifle drop and side impact blast test was neat.

Seems like the tango down mags are pretty good except for not being able to take them apart.

Lancer mags also seem good but rust...

Fun thread. Troy definitely seemed the most chemically susceptible. Pmag and tapco were about the same, little disappointed at the cracking.

Yeah, but at least Magpul products don't suck. Too bad the new PMAG M3 wasn't available for testing.

Ya I like my pmags. Gotta say those lancer mags seemed pretty tough despite the rusting.

The Lancer mag was impressive, rust wouldn't be an issue for most users as long as they were cleaned properly.

I wonder if the manufacturers of these magazines are reading this and using it as a way to improve their designs. Even if they all fail in the end, it never hurts to keep on improving.
