Various AR magazines being tested in all kinds of way. The thread goes on for over 10 pages are there are tons of videos and pics detailing every bit of damage and deterioration.

Haven't read the thread yet, but I wonder if he did a feed-lips-down-loaded-mag'-drop--onto-concrete test? The lips break off the Thermold ones. Seen it with my own eyes.

Edit - read the thread, and see that he didn't have any great problems.
 
That full rifle drop and side impact blast test was neat.

Seems like the tango down mags are pretty good except for not being able to take them apart.

Lancer mags also seem good but rust...
 
Fun thread. Troy definitely seemed the most chemically susceptible. Pmag and tapco were about the same, little disappointed at the cracking.

Didn't like the fact that magpul came in and started a #### storm nea style...
 
I wonder if the manufacturers of these magazines are reading this and using it as a way to improve their designs. Even if they all fail in the end, it never hurts to keep on improving.
 
LOL!! He just posted the videos of the .50 disintegrating the mags. Funny ####!

After watching the vids I don't feel so bad holding onto all my GI mags.
