So with all this talk of guns in the recent events, I did what we do best, went shopping. Took my tax return and called the store and initiated the transfer on that xd9mm I've been longing for.

I sold a restricted recently to an Ontarian and am still waiting for approval.

In the same time I've bought and sold a couple restricted's from non-Ontario provinces and got them in days.

On my last restricted purchase in January, I bought the revolver on a Saturday afternoon, and went and picked it up the following Tues. afternoon. I guess I was just lucky.

I've been waiting 2 weeks so far for Transfer of a new CZ75b from Gunsnthings.

Waited 7 months for my XD40 to come in, now it's 2 weeks and counting for the transfer and ATT(in Ontario). TC

Shhhhheeeeesssss here! Actually she came home friday night!

Does anyone know of a decent cheaper pistol light? Or is my only option a streamlight TLR-1?

TLR1 is a good light. I had a TLR-2 and I really enjoyed it but I prefer the looks but not the price of the X200's. TLR-1 should do you fine. Check the EE for a good deal.

I got to shoot C&L's XD9 and I really enjoyed it. Much nicer grip angle than the Glocks IMHO and points better. That being said I bought a P226 in 9MM

My restricted transfers have taken 2 and 3 days respectively. (stripped lower and 226)

I ordered a S&W 686 from an Alberta gunshop last Monday got it in the mail in BC Friday and was shooting it at the range on Saturday.
