The "What Have You Reloaded Today" thread

I loaded up 40 rounds of test loads for my new Sako Safari in 338 WM...........trying to decide whether to leave it a 338 or make another 340 out of it..............We'll see how the new powders work in the 338 but I have never been impressed with this cartridge in the past and I tried 3 different rifles in it.
Today I loaded 225 Nosler Accubonds with RL 17 and IMR 4350, next I may try a 210 Barnes X boat tail bullet just to get a little more speed out of it..........LGS has about 8 boxes of them so if they work I'll know where to get my supply from. I should also see how Marshal's 225 works in it as this is likely the best bullet of the works for a 338.

Don't you find RL 22 a little fast for the Wby with 200 gn bullets............I use RL 25 behind 200 Nosler ABs or Parts.

I'm not sure c-fbmi......I wanted to try something else besides IMR4831 and had 4lbs of RL22 and only 1lb of RL25

If you have used both RL 22 and 25 what are your observations?

Regards, Kevin

My most accurate load for the 8mmWSM lol, is H4350 and 200 NAB's. Love this cartridge.

I did some up with H4350 & 200 grain Partitions a couple weeks ago. 3 shots in 3/8", 4 shots in 1", last shot (flinch) opened it up to just over 1.5"

I have a whole bunch of the Speer bullets do use up for practice.

100 7.62x39 124gr Hornady Spire Point loaded with IMR 4198 and CCI #34 Primers
100 7.62x51 168gr SMK loaded with IMR 4064, CCI#.34 Primers in Lake City brass for my M1A National Match

400 x 45ACP 230gr tc with 5.7 gr of 452aa and 1000 x 9mm 125gr LRN with 3.7 gr of titegroup and all set for the range this week or weekend. God love the Dillon 650 for making it easier/timely to shoot more.

6.5x55 140gr hpbt over h380, and doing another batch +1 grain powder.

EDIT add-on:
Did this in 5 round batches until 3 of 5 primers came out looking rough around the edges. Will now work/load around my best group. One rifle, bullet, powder combo completed and thousands more to go.

Expanding and neck turning 6.5-284 lapua brass. Very disappointed in the variation in neck thickness, some cases went from 14 to 17 thou!

Also did 20 rounds of 6.5x47 with Varget. Hopefully I get good results, than I'll be able to simplify my powder situation.
