The "What Have You Reloaded Today" thread

I have spend the last few days in the shop with my one month old in a carrier loading up 9mm to give my wife a change to sleep. I have to chuckle to myself thinking how much fun I am going to have introducing my daughter to all my hobbies as she grows up.
It's great when you can introduce your daughters to the sport, down the road a young man will appreciate your efforts.

100x 44mag 240gr campro plinking rounds over HP38
85x 44mag 240gr sierra JHC hunting loads over H110
15x 44mag 240g campro over H110 practise hunting loads

All for my Winchester/Miroku 92 and all hit to the same POA out to 100 yards.

More of these...

And more today...

Did up 40 quick rounds of 38S&W to finally try out an 1880's Smith that I've had for years and never fired. Was going to use fffg but didn't have any bullets of soft enough alloy for black. Instead used 2.0gr of Win 231 and a semi soft Lee rnfp that cast at 132gr.

Also another 75 rnds of 44mag with 200gr Lee rnfp and 6gr titegroup.

Well I'm gonna have to look up this thread again...just starting into reloading and finally all set up. All I've done is decap some 9mm brass and will tumble and shine 'em up soon. Does that count? LOL...I'll be back when I've made up my first batch of 9mm.

Cheers

I just converted 100 rounds of 270 Weatherby Magnum brass to 257 Weatherby Magnum [very easy, fwiw]

I thought it was interesting to see that an empty 257 Weatherby case weighed within 1 grain of an empty
270 Weatherby case, and the 270 Weatherby cases headstamped "Norma" were also within 1 grain. Norma
making pretty consistent brass for Weatherby chamberings.

I also loaded 40 rounds for the Weatherby....115 Partitions over Reloder 25, and 117 Sierras over IMR 7828.
Now if the weather would just co-operate, I will get out and shoot this rifle to see what it can do. :) EE.

Hey Dave........this is your first dance with the 257 Bee, ain't it? Good luck and may the Gods of tiny groups smile upon you..........

I just loaded some test loads for a 260 I have in a Mod 7 with 129 gn SST and H4831SC. Top loads are pretty heavily compressed but that's the way I like 'em. So when the weather picks up (snowed a foot yesterday and today) I've got some noise to make too.

Yes, Douglas...first dance with the 257 bee, lol. I am hoping for the best. Sure has a long throat, so I am not even chasing it for now.
Hoping that 3400 is attainable with 117-120 grain bullets, and 3500 with 110's D.
