The wife looking for a 20 gauge semi-auto-26' barrel-lighter in weight: suggestions?

I have a couple nice 20 ga autos. Not cheap. Beretta A400. Might want to get the kickoff pad to help with recoil. And the Benelli Rafaello Supersport. Its carbon fiber lookalike and 2900 bucks new. But very elegant and needs minimal cleaning. I wouldn't get hung up on "wood" for a 20 ga auto. Just not a big issue for autos and more easily scratched.
 
It's been said already but I'll second it - the Benelli ultralight in 20ga is awesome. My wife has one (and it makes me jealous). It is VERY light recoiling and a joy to shoot. At only 5lbs its easy to carry around for hunting too.

If the OP's wife is anything like my wife...
- The look of certain things can be just as important as it's functionality.

If she likes how it (she) looks, she'll be more inclined to go out hunting.
- A happy (hunting) spouse is worth something :bigHug:

If you can find one at a decent price, the Remington 1100 Sporting 20 would also be a good choice...and some came with very nice wood!
The Remington 1100 G3 would be another option.
Unfortunately, both of these are commanding premium prices right now, when they come available...

The Benellis are very nice, but are usually more expensive...

But as suggested, if you find a shotgun that fits her well and she likes the weight, it will be a worthwhile investment over the years of good service she'll get out of it.

I know my wife prefers her Remington 1100 Sporting 28 over my Benelli Ethos in 28, as she likes the bit of extra weight when it comes to felt recoil (which she is sensitive to).
