I have read about the Winchester 333s but never seen or bought any until a few days ago. I bought 2 boxes for a total of 666 rounds and paid just under twenty dollars before taxes. That's a hard deal to beat! I got them from the Walmart in Oshawa at Harmony/Taunton.

Went through about three hundred in my stock 10/22 with 25 round Butler Creek Steel lips. I didn't have one failure to speak of and the accuracy was fine. These are 36 grain, plated .22 hollow points that claim 1280fps. Just wanted to let people know that you can't go wrong with these!

I bought my local wal-Mart's stock of 333 ammo out. At this price, I could shoot all summer and not have to resupply. It cycles thru all my .22 guns no problem. Great ammo at a super price.

it does not hurt either that my son works there and I get 10% off regular prices before taxes. The staff knows that if more come in, they let me know and I do a buying trip.

I am glad you don't live in Oshawa! I better go buy a few more boxes before someone else gets an idea like yours! ;)

Ya the local wally sells them for under $10.00/box here as well. Took me a while to figure out the math, but 3 boxes = 1k rounds for $30.00 or 15.00/brick. better price than any other bulk .22 I can find here. They feed and shoot well out of my cooey, but my MKII does not like to feed them at all for some reason. To me they look like an expert, but are copper plated, they have the same truncated cone type of shape. Overall good ammo and if your gun will feed it, excellent value !!!

I tried out a box when they first popped up at the local walmart. They are pretty good. Although it's not a scream of a deal, it's still a good buy for a snack-pack at the range. :D

Take your MKII, and shoot off a bench. Try putting pressure on the bottom of the magazine while loading. Mine won't feed while walking about, but with pressure on the mag, it will usually feed 10 shots trouble free. Try it, see what happens. Or save it for your Cooey.:D

I shoot them thru my Cooey 64s (5), my Lakefield Mark I and II, Marlin 81. Stevens 300., 152 K Mossberg and have cycled them thru my 2 - 151 M mossys, (haven't got to shoot the 151s yet as it has been too cold for the range), everything feeds fine. The Cooeys did not like the Expert hollow points at all, but I think the plating has smoothed them enough that they cycle thru . No misfires nor FTEs....

Stop giving away my secrets, Man!!!

I still think we can persuade the manager there to bring in .223 Winchester in the value packs.

Sorry Peter! Imagine if they could also bring in the handgun ammo like the Walmarts in the States. I finally found someone who is good with the Lee Pro 1000 that is coming by Saturday to show me a few tricks!

Don't bother looking for anymore at Walmart in Oshawa right now. I was there an hour ago and had an impulse buy. I took the last three boxes on the shelf. The girl said they sell like hot cakes and the shipment comes in once a month.

been shooting 333's for a couple years now, haven't had any problems per se and I shoot 20000+ rounds per year. At less than 10.00 a box they're great! Just don't try to buy any around here... I keep all the local Wally's cleaned out! lol

They work great for me. They're cheap, copper plated, and work in my S&W Model 41 with an 8lb spring. I can consistently get dime-sized (and sometimes smaller) groups at 50 yards out of my 10/22 with a Green Mountain barrel.

Oh, so that was you. Every time I go in they are out of stock. Really wish I had money when Cabelas had their grand opening. American Eagles were $13 a brick. Weddings suck.

Most of them lately have ended up in the Selkirk berm. Sighting in my Mossy 151s for the upcoming varmint season. What splendid guns they are and very accurate to boot. But will restock this week as new stock is expected.
