Esp' with the technology we have these days, I'm sure a flow jet could mill out the parts quit nicely, and get away from the stamped pot metal crap style of post 66.

And with the volume of 45/70's that Marlin sells, you would think Winchester would clue in and make the 1886 a regular production run gun.
I'd sooner see an Uberti made 1886, no crappy rebounding hammer or tang safety
