The Winchester project: Compleat! 55-/+ pics!

Thank you, thank you! I'll be here all week!:D

I will say that I am proud of my work. I actuly got this old gal shooting today as the hammer spring I ordered 2 weeks age finely showed up. It was WAAAAAY too strong. Wouldnt #### the hammer back when pumped. SO I filed the spring down just a tad and the action is nice and smooth now.

Now, I dont do the "groupings" thing. But, using CCI Mini's and Subs, hitting a 5" gong at 50-60 yards is easy! So, a "tin can" is no problem.;)

As to stock building, please, one at a time! I'm actuly going to do some work for the fellow I bought the rifle from.

AND LASTLY! Anything is for sale, for the right price.;)

Holy Cow! PBG 3, .... a young fella with hand tools, drill press, lathe(metal?) and ^ elbow grease created a thing of true beauty, the reserection of a noble old rifle.
You have a fine eye for lines and detail, as well as the patience that defines a gifted craftsman.

The wood to metal fitting is impressive.

I made a stock for an FN /06 back when I was your age, ..... took sooo long to finish it off, got sooo attached to it, that selling was never an option. It's a 6.5/06 these days.
