Lots of TV shows use Lee-Enfields for everybody. A bolt action is a bolt action when you have no clue. And the people at the History Channel have no clue. No campaign hats in the trenches of W.W. I either.
Those 8 Huns would be mowed down in seconds as well.

Watered down crap for the masses. Sadly, most that would watch don't know enough and just nod along with it. Same with all the "reality" shows. If there's one about your profession you just sit and shake your head, while everyone else laps it up. It's always the idiots that end up on TV.

Not great quality video, but geez, none better.

Between PBS and Alberta ACCESS Network (remember ACCESS?) I could watch an episode almost every day all through the 80s. I lost count of the number of times I watched the whole series through. That theme song still haunts me.

Thanks for the link, I think I'll watch the entire series again. A couple or three more times.
