I dont have anything z cause it seems more expencive (espically the ammo!) I would certinaly consider getting some of that but the boxes are half empty! Lol (arent full 50 boxes). Anywho I think it just shows we can take a joke brings people out to the sport and its fun. ITS THE NEW PINK GET OVER IT hahah..Although I see my local stores have the zombie targets now maybe I should try some of those.

Its, the zombie ammo, is pretty my the same price as any other hollow point/self defence ammo. As well as most come in boxes of 20-25 rounds.

I knew they made a Call of Duty Jeep Wrangler, when did they do a truck?

That call of duty Ram was a derrick dodge special...all they did was use the decals from the jeep...i get weekly updates from jeep and i recall they had a ZORT official model for special order a few months back!!!

As far as movies go, I'm all for it, where it be viruses or contaminated blood or water etc. it offers some awesome plot lines for the imagination ... imagination = FICTION!

I believe the zombie thing is simply a product of a lack of a common real enemy. WWII is long over so no Germans to hate, the Cold War is over so no Commies to hate, and now we the war on terror but it would be quite faux-pas (and down-right racist / ignorant) to hate all Arabs. So now we have Zombies. We buy or toys and play with them and know full-well that "black rifles" are combat rifles that have been designed to kill people but this is taboo and we don't talk about this. Read any of these blogs were Joe Smith has an awesome AR or whatever to fend off Zombie hordes, all they are really saying is they have a rifle that is capable of killing many people. Think about it, replace the word "zombie" with "person" and voila.

It all comes down to "de-humanization" a term psychologist and sociologists use when explaining the process a person goes through while preparing themselves to kill other people. If you don't see your enemy as another equal human being it is easier to destroy them. That is why wars has spawned so many terms; towel heads, gooks, japs, Jerrys, yanks, etc.

Personally I find the zombie thing entertaining but I see it for what it is.

Ask me why I shoot and I will tell you it's because I'm a perfectionist, I started out with precision rifles and it was a perfect fit for me. I've got an XCR on the way, why? because I want to challenge myself with faster shooting.

Guns are fun and zombies don't exist. People who are dead serious about getting good at killing hordes of zombies scare me more than zombies themselves.

My two cents.

I strongly disagree with that over-analyzed opinion. The zombie fad is just a fad and a light hearted one at that. Maybe you feel your black rifle is made for killing lots of people that you've subliminally dehumanized by equating them with zombies but I don't.

I think the zombie apocalypse is just a successfully marketed, light-hearted stress relief gimmick which owes its success to the overall pessimistic outlook people have since the 08 recession that we've never really recovered from. Times are tough.

I voted no, because my younger sister in law decided to try shooting after seeing Zombieland. So, don't care about the zombie marketing stuff but it's still funny once in a while to shoot a zombie target.

I didn't vote. There was no option of; 'Meh'

I am guilty of wearing shirts etc. because I think it's funny.......

When somebody asks me why I would need 50K of 22 LR, 2500 12Ga, or 6K of .223 I say "Zombies" instead of "Because Liberals scare the pants off me"

I recently read Brownelles web bench (email spam, but I still read it). The comments made make some sense.....

Now, on to a much "graver" matter. Remember that Halloween is just around the corner. This means a whole new kind of game is about to surface – Zombies! You’ll want to check out our latest video that shows off the amazing skills of the "Brownells Zombie Elimination Crew". These charismatic characters, played by our own Brownells crewmembers, show off all of the great products you’ll need to get through the coming "Zombie Apocalypse". We’ve set this up on our website so you can click on each individual member of the Crew, read about his or her story, and take a really good look at the equipment they are carrying or wearing – even buy it if you’d like.

Well, so maybe you’re not so worried about walking corpses, but we hope you find it entertaining.... It’s really worth a watch! Of course, we’re just having a little fun here. It’s the season after all. I didn’t know what to think of it all at first, either. However, an article posted on GunsandAmmo.com changed my mind. The author, Patrick Sweeney, points out that kids and young adults these days are entertained much differently than us older generations. Growing up with video games, computers, and other interactive activities, to them shooting pop cans in the backyard maybe isn’t so exciting. So, if they’re drawn into the shooting sports by taking aim at the "undead", then I’m all for it.

It's all about getting people out enjoying the sport and making firearms companys a sh*t ton of $$.

This could arguably not be a fad, there has been a very "healthy"' counterculture around all things zombie for decades. Fads appear from nowhere, and disappear to nowhere. If the craze cooled, it would still be more than an underground thing.
