I don't know about collectability but they are beautiful rifles. I've been tempted to buy one for that reason alone, and yes (oh the horror) I'd shoot it!
 
Any idea on a current $$ value?
I've seen US retailers list them for $3200 when they first came out then $1600 a couple years later when they were trying to clear them off the shelves. Now guys are currently trying to sell them for $6000-$7000 on US online auction sites.
 
What is the resale value of other Winchester "commemorative" rifles?

Like my record collector friend has told me once; anything new labelled "collector's edition" isn't.
 
Yo dude, I know a guy that knows a guy really! A gun buddy /colector close friend ( has 63 commemratives ) including the Teddy Roosevelt models. I believe that one of his dealers has the T R, for sale new in box. Montreal I could hook you up if you like
